Default Headlight replacement
ok all, I have a 1996 fatboy with a sealed beam headlight and it is not nearly enough light. what would you recommend I replace it with?

Pick up a newer HD take off and put a sylvania ultrastar H4 bulb in it. Very bright and should be able to pick up a factory take off pretty cheep. If you got the coin your choices are limitless.

It's kinda pricey, but Harley's new LED Headlight is amazing. Ordering it from one of the 20% off dealers helps a lot.

The led one is bright as hell. As for an h4 headlamp have seen them at a few auto stores upgraded my jeep to these and when one on one of the bikes broke just swapped one out

Check out ebay or craigs list for a stock take off. Shoot I just gave mine away. Probably pickone up cheep.

I don't think so but sylvania makes a variaty of ultra star bulbs.

I replaced mine on my 2004 fatboy, and i also added passing lamps. Huge difference.

For my passing lights I bought Xenon Boost Super Spots, Super Whites bulbs at the HD dealer. For my headlight I purchased PIAA H4 Extreme White Plus 110/100W Anti Vibration bulbs. Made a big difference. I'd like to go to the LED but wow the cost!!
