Ever seen anyone with wrapped bars. I have the heritage bars on my Lo and was thinking about having them PC'd. Then I thought why not wrap them with black exhaust wrapping? I'd get the black I wanted and it would give them some thickness. So what do you think? Would it give it an old school look or ****? I might try it. Not like it isn't reversible.

try it out...mine are black anodized and it wears off with the brake and clutch cable rub..that would rid of that....

That's what we did with our bicycles handlebars when I was a kid. Didn't hold up very well though, but maybe now they have better quality tape

 

true but so easy to replace one roll would last years...lol

 

I've never heard of or even THOUGHT of doing that. I'd say give it a shot, and if it looks bad, just take it off. In my mind it doesn't look good though.
