im in the same boat... 6'2'' and stuck between 16 or 18s

 

5' 9" with 16" Carlini's. The only way to fly!

i just had 18s installed and im 6 ft they are alittle above my shoulder,as others said go 18 u wont regret it u can always live with a higher bar,but cant make em grow if u get the smaller of the 2 18s or 16s

 

16's on stock risers and I'm 6'2". Perfect setup and if I want a bit more I can get bigger risers.

How can anyone else tell you what size bars are right for you?

Get a buddy to come over. Hand him a tape measure, hold a broomstick at just about shoulder width and then hold it straight out in front of you at a height that feels about right for YOU. Have him measure the height and pull back as measured from the riser mount. You still might have a problem finding a set exactly like what you want, but it should get you close on your first try.

+1 on mocking up. I never thought of the broomstick, haha! I mocked up our bikes to 'bout shoulder height. Pullback is important too. You got to know beforehand how you want the bars to look, either in rake with forks, or straight up, and so on.
