Just bought a new tank protector & pocket. I have it installed, and when I opened it up, I found this "ribbon". What the HECK is that for!?

 

Security lock or maybe rideing your Harley like a bull.

 

I don't have one and not sure, but I would think it was to make it easier to get what ever you put in there out with gloves on. Kind of like the ribbons inside a battery compartment of toys and stuff, to make them easier to get out. Just a guess though.

 

That just helps to pull up what ever you put in there ,,,or ride like a bull : )

 

Kinda stupid if you ask me...

 

Obviously you've never opened a remote control.....where is has that little white ribbon so that with one quick pull, you can get all the batteries out....

 

i have the same thing and i cut that sumamabitch off...

 

It's your seatbelt, don't let a LEO see you without that tied to your belt! I hear it is a $150 ticket now!

 

Like everyone else stated..... it's to get your batteries out....... LOL!

 

Be sure to change your batteries when you change your clocks
