There is no such thing as a "pre-200 Deuce fender". While some of the softails come with 200 rears, the Deuce still comes with 160 rear. There is only one Deuce fender.

Why don't you grab it and see if at least the mountings seem the same?

We've done stuff like that - put forwards on a super glide with an engine guard by using the Wide Glide engine guard. Took us three or four dealers until we could find a guy that could tell us the parts we need - and he didn't realize that putting the wide glide bar on the superglide would allow the fender to hit the bar when hitting a NYC size pothole. Seems like the Harley guys can look under the part and tell you what it will fit and that's it.

btw, we're gonna fix the problem by either trimming the fender at the back or raising the bar up an inch with an extension on the frame (the lowers just wrap around the frame rails...)

Jbt, Please post your findings on that fender. I'm with you on the chrome thing also. I'm tired of the super chromed out Yuppy bikes. Chrome has it"s place and looks good, just not everywhere.

****CHROME WON'T GET YOU HOME****

J&p has some nice fenders for around $200-$300.I used a 9" for mine with a Metzeler 180, but they have several sizes.I just had to notch out where the ignition module went with a 4.5" angle grinder and cutting disc.
