Change FXST rear fender for Duece?

Change FXST rear fender for Duece?
I have a 04 FXST, and would like to swap the rear fender for the Duece style. Does anyone know if they will swap out? Looking at it looks like they are the same. I love my bike so I don't want to change bikes. Thanks Wallace in Georgia

I'm not sure if it would bolt right up or not. However, if it does, I think you would have to change your seat. When I had my Deuce and was looking at seats, I had to go with a Deuce specific seat. But I'm not sure if the Deuce seat would work because the tanks are different also. So I'm thinkin' some things would need to be changed if you're able to go with a Deuce fender. Someone else will probably chime in with better information. I don't think I've ever heard of someone actually wanting to put the Deuce rear fender on their bike. I loved the rear fender on the Deuce.
