primary tensioner
ehy, i was wondering if anyone has this and what they think about it... im getting more involved and learning more about doing my own work, is this worth getting?

Doing your own wrenching is part of the fun. I have the Hayden M-6 chain tensioner. It has been in for about 10,000 miles and works great. I don't have any experience with the HD one.
I bought a $3.00 plastic gauge that I insert into the tensioner opening, push up against the chain, and take the reading. It takes all of 5 minutes to pull the cover, check the tension, and adjust if necessary. Since the tensioners are suspect in some of the noise in the '07 bikes, I'll keep my manual aduster,
hayden all the way
there has been some discussion that the H-D are locking up on to tight of a position and is accountable to some noise
I had the M-6 on my fatboy and am considering the HB125 on my Ultra

I installed that one in the spring, was very easy to do, also did the reduced effort clutch at the same time. I heard some people say that they whine, but i've heard nothing from mine at all.
I could see it making noise if it was set up too tight to begin with, but very quiet, good shifting, plus I got it for 25% off when M&M cycles had one of there sales. (normaly 20% off anyway)

I went with the HB 125 a couple years ago, I liked the design better due to it is hydraulic and not spring loaded. Concept the same, which is keeping the correct tension on the chain
