Anybody put Kuryakyn mini-floorboards or any other floorboard on a softail for the passenger instead of the regular type pegs ? Trying to make the ride a little more comfortable for my wife , wondering if it would be an improvement or not . I know when I switched from regular Kuryakyn ISO pegs to duallys / stirrups for myself it was much more relaxing , did'nt feel like a bird trying to cling onto a perch anymore . Real relaxing , especially on the legs !
Any pictures would be appreciated , I don't think they would look that bad as long as the size is not too big .
I put the Kuryakyn on my 03 Deuce when my wife suddenly started resting her heel on the exhaust. She liked them a lot. I tried to get them back from the guy that bought it, and his wife won't give them up. I'll have to get her a new pair for this bike. I'm at work so I don't have a photo availible, but with the chromed bottoms, they blend in and look pretty good.
Do it for your pipes. The only time I've considered switching from pegs to floorboards in the passenger's was because the girls left more than a good impression in my memories... melted rubber in my exhaust!!!
