I've had the quiet and standard baffles and there is not much difference in the noise. I switched to the standard baffle because my dyno tuner said the quiet baffle hurts performance slightly.
its not the photo, the angle is different. I have a new muffler and an older 2004 heritage version and the angle is definitely a different cut. The old versions are sharper and face straight down. The new are a more shallow cut and angle down and to the right. I much prefer the old.
Since we're showing off pics of Fatcats, here's one of model # 504-32B, for '00-'10 softails with the 02 sensor bungs. Mine faces straight down, no right angle at all.
I don't have pics of mine yet, but I put a powdercoated Fatcat with quiet baffle on my SG last week. I also went with the left side ghost pipe. I am absolutely happy with my decision. More torque across the board and I love the sound. Highly recommended.

Good to know. Yours looks like the longer herirage version like mine. I have a standard length muffler bought in January 2011 that definitely has a different angle cut. Could be just the 20" muffler that changed. The one on my bike is 23".

I think the older one looks better too. It kind of pissed me off that they kept telling me I was wrong and they have never changed the cut.
