OK,time to change my fluids in my DELUXE,bought it with 11k on it,now has 13k,,want to do the trans and the engine,,,any ideas on the brands?,some say screaming eagle,some synthetics,some use thicker weight?,i saw doc drue did not like a certain trans fluid???what do you all recommend ???

 

I have had good service and duration with Redline Vtwin for primary chain case and engine. I use Amsoil Severe Gear 75-140 for tyranny here in hot FL. Severe Gear gives most quiet service and has good climbing quality, although Redline Vtwin tyranny has some spectacular qualities...use one or the other ...but don't mix em. You can go 5 k on the engine and 10k on primary and tyranny...but for the first few R&R on a new bike I do all at 5k a couple of times just to see condition of fluids and amount of metal deposits on the drain plugs.
