Softail
Fatboy Lo has been a pretty popular choice since it's introduction in 2009. I personally like the Blackline which was introduced just this year, but that's just me. I'd go to the dealer and sit on a few. See which one calls to you...
About the only one of the Softails that are different from the rest other than front forks, tires, wheels, fenders, bags and accessories is the Deuce. It has a stretched out frame intending to give it the cleaner looks of the custom choppers but straight from the factory. I think the front forks are at a different rake also but not sure. Stock it doesn't look that much different but when you start adding accessories that really accentuate its lines then you can really see the difference.
As far as mileage, it's just like a car. I've seen cars with 150K miles that were in better shape than the same car with 70K. I bought my Heritage with over 65K miles and I still have newbies who can't see the difference between an Evo motor and a TC that can't believe the bike is more than 2 years old. That said, at over 60K miles, things start to go like stators (charging system), starters, etc. With all the yuppies who are in financial trouble who bought bikes to show off in their garage, there are a lot of real low mileage bikes out there with decent price tags on them.

When I got my Heritage, I was originally looking for a Deluxe. I saw this bike and never looked back. I left the dealership, and (not even joking) had a dream about this bike. Went back to the dealership the next day and looked at it again, and bought it the following day. This bike literally called my name!
