Set up a meeting with the GM and simply tell him that there must be some immediate resolution to your issues or give you a new bike or full credit towards another bike. I am sure The Motor Company wouldn't want to hear about any of these issues.... How does your state's lemon law work?

wow. bad luck is all I can say. I have the exact same model as you..... 05' black cherry pearl. I haven't had any of these problems. I guess the real question you have to ask yourself is this:

do you want to keep it or not?

you can always go to another dealer and vent your frustrations, and keep pluggin along. Or you can trade her in / sell her for another.

For me nothing matches how I feel on a harley, so I'd never give up. You've gotta think eventually it will get straightened out. My take on it was that I didn't want a dealer doing any crappy work, so I didn't buy the extended warranty. I just got the standard 2 year deal and I take my bike to a private harley mechanic that does great work for me.

Sorry to hear your problems, I haven't experianced anything like that at all. If it were me, I would talk to the owner of the dealership and ask him "I spent 20,000 dollers here, What are you going to do to make this right by me, before I have to do something MYSELF to make it right?" You can always contact the BBB.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I haven't had any real issues with ym 05 Night Train. Your dealer sounds pretty crappy though. They should be bending over backwards to get your bike fixed. I would look into getting a replacement bike form HD. Sounds like you may have gotten a lemon.

Cheers!

Sounds like a Lemon, have it replaced with a different bike. The frustration isn't worth it.

Hi just seen your post I work for a dealer in the UK. The way you have been treated is bloody discusting. I have an 04 Nightrain not had any of your problems and a very simililar set up to you, with the engine. I did how ever get a wobble on the front I cured this with a fork brace I know it is more money but it is an idea you could try.

I really don't want to be the person to ask this question, but...

Won't installing the Power Commander have voided your warranty? It sounds like some of your problems are related to that, so I'm not sure how symathetic Harley Motor Comp. will be toward replacing it.

I have a 7 year extended warrenty, and have been over it in detail with my dealer. The way we all see it is that the warrenty is valid, but not in effect on parts that are after market. Replace cams, and have a engine blow, but not due to cams, warrenty in effect except for the new cams. Within reason though, if I bore my jugs to 95", O.K. but to 102" on factory originals, and I blow her up, no judge will rule in my favour.
