Default Need some help, please

I have the drag specialties starter jack shaft conversion, part number 2110-072
apparently there is an internal snap ring that gives the starter something to push against to move the jack shaft out so it can engage the ring gear (if any of that made sense....). Somewhere along the way I managed to lose and or break that snap ring, now I am having a very difficult time finding a new one....anyone have any suggestions?

So no one on here has this conversion? It seems to be a pretty good set up, way less parts, I am just having a hard time finding this internal snap ring, anyone? Buehler, ...... Buehler?????
