Default 2000 fatboy choke problem..

I have a problem with the choke on my bike. When starting it the choke will not stay out it just started doing this. It has a factory carb with a forcewinder air cleaner on it.

On the inside of the choke **** there is a black PLASTIC nut....this nut needs to be finger tightened against the bracket. If you over tighten, it WILL break!

Just pull the choke **** all the way out and you will see it.

+1 on the finger tightening of the plastic nut, one of my first lessons on my old carb'd Sporty. I had one that used to creep closed over time so the bike was usually warmed up by the time it had worked itself all the way in. I used to call it my automatic choke adjustment.
