I have a 1995 heritage softail, I got it used about a year ago and the exhaust slip-on had raddled in it so I got set off e-bay and the bike started popping, more it was popping from the start and seem to level out at about 70mph. so purchased a dynojet kit the bike runs great now but the popping seem to have got worst, I checked the plug reading and it seems correct, is it normal for Harleys to pop during deceleration, the slip on's seems to be near straight through? Any ideas or suggestions

Theres 2 reasons for exhaust poping when decellerating. #1 is from leaking exhaust gaskets. A lot of guys re-use old exhaust gaskets when adding new pipes, and afterwards you get the poping. If all you did was add slip-ons, I don't think this is your issue. The other reason is from a slightly lean pilot circut in the carb. Fatten up the pilot jet and the lean poping will go away.
Any there recommendatins for slip on's, that have good preformance and great sound, the plug reading seems in between tanish and clean (looks like a newplug) not black and not white. any suggustions.
SEII's have a nice sound and good perfromance. I have about 10,000 miles on mine and there sound has deepened with time. Cycle shack slip ons are cheaper than SEII's and provide a similar sound and performance. If I new about the cycle shack slip ons before I purchased the SEII's, they would have been my choice (basically the same muffler with a huge difference in price).

I put a bigger pilot jet, went up two sizes, 100% corrected, thanks for everyone's help
Might not even be related to exhaust , I had a 1997 Fatboy did same thing and it turned out to be a intake gasket , that would make the fuel mixture lean !
