Default Ordered New BR Custom Bars Today

Just got off the phone. Ordered a set of 90s bars from BR Customs. Had him make them in 1 1/2" thick, 10" across the bottom, 10" height, 31" width and 3-4" pullback.

Im goin to put these on my deluxe. Now the "6-week" wait.

Since I had Carlini 1 1/2" piston risers, I wanted to try and stay with a 1 1/2" thick bar. I couldnt find any mini-apes on line 1 1/2" thick.

I have Yaffe Monkey bars on my roadglide and i like the comfort of 10" apes.

I originally had 18" flyin apes on my deluxe about 4 yrs ago and got rid of em because i wanted something different

I figure/hope that these 10" bars will be exactly what im lookin for.

Loookin at Honkylips bike and another guy that has a similar bar on his roadking, motivated me.

Figure they should look good in a rat bike/bobber sorta style on my deluxe.

I think it is time for me to look somewhere else. Bill at BR Customs won't return my phone calls or emails. Since my initial contact with him in December of 2010 it is now July of 2011 and still nothing but a big jerk-around - I don't get that kind of business relations but some sort of contact would be nice. Later dude, you're obviously too busy for my business.

Me too. Bill is very easy to work with and willing to go the extra mile to make you happy. At least from my personal experience with him.

Wow! Every contact I had with him when I ordered my bars was quickly responded to. I must of called him four to five times figuring out exactly what I wanted.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not knocking him and I'm sure he does fantastic work. No doubt - That's why I went to him for bars on my pride and joy. I think he is just up to his neck in work. I just wish he would get back to me by email or phone.

I agree it is hard to believe. I know I left him a message once and he didnt return the call. I called him a few days later, we discussed the bars i wanted and then when i was ready to order i called him and placed the order.

He even told me he picked up extra help for the summer/riding/busy season.

I wouldnt give up try callin 1st thing in the morning....
