Yeah I suppose you're right. Thanks for your input. I have been waiting for some time now. That is what is so frustrating to me. This is the busy season but hopefully he can mark me down on the priority list soon. I do know that there are some really good metal fabricators with state of the art equipment in my area that are capable of making some cool custom bars. There are some options. I'd rather have Bill make them though.
I think it is time for me to look somewhere else. Bill at BR Customs won't return my phone calls or emails. Since my initial contact with him in December of 2010 it is now July of 2011 and still nothing but a big jerk-around - I don't get that kind of business relations but some sort of contact would be nice. Later dude, you're obviously too busy for my business.
No doubt that is not like BR, he is usually pretty good at getting back to folks. I've known him for a few years now and am shocked. I would recommend what another just posted about calling him early in the a.m. Let me know if you contact him. I have his cell number and will reach out if needed.

I went to school with Billy, and known him my whole life. He just called me a couple of days ago to get together on the boats Sunday night, which surprised me knowing the hours he puts in. I can tell you that if he didn't call you, he didn't get your message because there is no "attitude" or "brush off" with that boy at all.
If you want, drop me a PM and I'll give you his personal cell phone number. It's not my place to give it out on the forum, but I am sure he'll want to take care of you.
BTW, don't feel bad, like I said, were good friends and he's making me a set of 1 1/2" one off custom mini-mini apes for my bike. I don't even ask him when they'll be ready because I know he's at least 6 weeks out, which makes my bars at least 12 weeks out.

Just got off the phone. Ordered a set of 90s bars from BR Customs. Had him make them in 1 1/2" thick, 10" across the bottom, 10" height, 31" width and 3-4" pullback.
Im goin to put these on my deluxe. Now the "6-week" wait.
I just found out today that my 12" Z-bars (NOT BR Custom bars) are cracking. So I was looking to order some from BR Customs (looking for quality this time around) but I'm very disappointed that it looks like from the comment above I'm going to be waiting 6-weeks?!? I have a 1000 mile trip coming up in 6 weeks!! That's a little too tight for me. Not sure what I'm going to do now.
Im going on eight weeks and to throw a wrench in the mix they were on vaction last week that means the whole shops shuts down.. I also had trouble getting a hold of him. If you speak to him make sure you get all info across to him or else he doesnt return messages or emails.. im sure he is swamped but like any business take care of your customer or potential customers or someone else will.. Maybe JD can give him some pointers...
