I had my custom ordered BR bars delivered to Australia within 6 weeks every email I sent them was answered by the next day would recommend them to everybody !
B&R are awesome bars but I went with Carlini's the B&R were like a couple hundred more, not that they are not worth it but money is getting tighter now. I have 10' bars just got them the other day very good quality
Bill was the only one I saw that would make them to measurements you asked for.
I photo-chopped an image of his 23" Lighting Bolts down to what I wanted.
He didn't think they would look alright at my measurements until he looked at my chopped version.
I just found out today that my 12" Z-bars (NOT BR Custom bars) are cracking. So I was looking to order some from BR Customs (looking for quality this time around) but I'm very disappointed that it looks like from the comment above I'm going to be waiting 6-weeks?!? I have a 1000 mile trip coming up in 6 weeks!! That's a little too tight for me. Not sure what I'm going to do now.
Who made the 12" bars that broke? I know Licks Cycles carries a 12" z-bar....

I'm not sure who makes them. I bought them from Dibrix Cycles but I don't think they actually make them. Same with Licks Cycles, looks like the exact same bars Dibrix sells. Dibrix, Licks, and probably a dozen other places all probably get the bars from the same manufacture so I'm not to keen on buying another set of these "good price but low quality" bars. I think a custom builder like BR Customs is the only way to know you're getting good quality stuff. Of course I'll have to pay big bucks but still probably cheaper in the long run.
Fortunately, I recognized the cracks before the bars snapped all the way in two. Don't think that would be any fun if that happened going down the road. And if your headed out on a long trip (which I'm about to do in a few weeks) something like that would ruin the whole trip and would be extremely expensive to take care of out on the road.
Cheap bars are just that. B&R will make you anything you want which is very cool. Post some shots when you get them on. Could you weld the ones you have as a temp repair to ride the bike? just a thought if the new bars don't get there on time
Call up and see what he says. Riding season is winding down in some parts so he might be slowin down a little
Or as someone mentioned Carlini 10" is a sweet bar all 1 1/4" or the larger bars step down for risers...
TJ can prob get you the bars quicker...
