Default Engine cuts out 88 Heritage

Hello People,
Thanking in advance for any help. My 88 Heritage is cutting out. The Top terminal on the coil loses power when the bike cuts out. Replaced the module and coil and no change. Making me crazy...Thanks

Welcome to the boards! You might want to post this in the tech forums. Lotsa good help over there. You will need to be more specific in regards to year, engine and mods, fuel system, etc. Also it would help if you describe exactly how it is happening, just the engine cutting out? Losing power with the speedo and lights?
Good luck!

The two most common causes of missing is....

1 Battery bolts loose at the battery, check, clean and tighten....

2 Hole in fuel line in gas tank, replace hose and might as well do the filter while in there...

Errrr... should not have said no2,,, just had to have mine done while on a 5day riding vacation... 500 miles away from home. Best thing was at least I found a dealer that had the parts and got me right in.

Thanks to Charlies in Huntington W.Virgina. and Derrick the wrench.

Two hrs later I was on the road again....happened at 33k
