I agree if heartland would sell you just the struts i think it can be done without buying and painting thier fender.

FYI springer struts and fender will fit a rocker

bottom of page 7 post 70

not the look i want, but it is a start maybe springer struts and drill out stock rocker rear IDK

I don't think Heartland will sell the struts alone

I had my rear fender made with steel belt reinforcement (1/4" thick) for passenger. Had the rear fender lowered 3/8" above rear tire while still utilizing stock mounts. If you wanna know how it was made shoot me a PM. Good luck while deciding on your fender, not really too many bolt on solutions.

got any pics of that? I’m also looking to modify my rear fender for a passenger while not ordering a overpriced kit.
