Whatever you get, try to get something with different baffle sizes available. Rush offers several different size baffles, cheap and easy to change volume and tone.

After some research, I went with RUSH and 1.75" baffles. I also have a pair of 1.5" baffles. The only other kind I've owned are SE IIs, and I like the Rush better.

I loved the sound of the Rineharts before I baffled them down to legal levels.

Everyone has an opinion and they will vary greatly on this subject....I have had many different ones but I like the Rush 1.75 the best of all. Also when my Dyno guru compares them to all the various slip-ons, he says he can get as much, or more HP and torque out of Rush slip ons as any other brand. He says nothing can really beat them, but some much more expensive slip ons can equal them. Just my $.02.

What's the opinion on Cycle Shack slip ons? I want to take off the Big Radius exhaust off of my 05 FXST and for the moment want to go cheap. I found the Cycle Shacks for less than $200.

I put cycle shacks ss on my 2011 heritage. Sounds great, No heat shields so the blue if your running to lean, and there really is not much back presser so I ended up putting a super tuner and high fow ac.

Cycle Shacks are not as deep a tone as the Rush. I have both.

Have played around with all the baffle sizes...ended up with the largest in both...forgot what it is in the CS, have the 2.5" in the Rush.

Used the eyebolt washer combo in both to get a lower tone and some more back pressure.

I put Cycle Shacks on my 04 FLSTF, and I loved them. Nice rumble, but not too loud when you take it easy. Nice roar at WOT.

My favorite part were the installation instructions that talked about my old lady.

I had the old SEII slip-ons on my '08 Sporty (pre street legal ones). They were a great volume and had a nice mid-range.

Now I have the RUSH 1.75" on my FLSTC and like them as well. They have a better low end but are a bit quieter. I'm thinking of changing one of the baffles to the 2". I hear RUSH sells a set now with a 1.75" and 2" combination.

Either way, I've been happy with both.

I can't understand why anyone would do that???? I'd think it would really throw off the tuning as well as the engine itself because the 2 cyclinders would not be harmonized.
