I loved the sounds of my V&H!

 

2011 FXDC with Vance and Hines slip on and love the sound

 

The best sounding slip-ons are the ones that are replaced with a full exhaust. I wasted my time fooling around with Rush slip-ons and eventually gave up and bought the Vance & Hines full system. What a difference!

I'd recommend not wasting your money on slip on's (like I did) and just purchase a 2 into 1. You will much more happy with the performance and sound. I originally purchased the SE Slip On's and shortly, very shortly, switched to the D&D FatCat. Big difference in performance and sound although I also changed the air intake which lead to a PCV. Where does it end---good luck.

 

I appreciate all the feedback. Sounds like the majority like V&H and Rush with 1.75 baffles. I got a steal on a set of new BUB 7 slashcuts. I`m going to try them for now and will likely post my impression for those who care.
