Mounting Fuel Pack
I don't have a Crossbones but I do have a Deluxe. It's not the easiest thing to do. I had to make some slight mods to that plastic thing to get everything to fit nice and neat under the seat.

+1 I have mine it in the same place on my Deluxe and my LO. It's a tight fit, but it fits.
I put one on my Bones and it wasn't the easiest thing to do. You need to cut off the fins on the bottom of your battery cover to make room for the Fuel Pak. Try mounting the FP with the wires pointing toward the back and also more to the right and rear of the battery top so the cover sits more flush. Tape the wires down flat. Either way, the battery cover won't be quite as flush as it was before installation. When you put the battery cover back on, make sure it's centered then use one hand to press down firmly on the back part at the angle then push down on the top edge until the hole in the cover matches up with the hole in the fender. Keep it centered that way as you put in the screw...if you don't, it'll go in ****-eyed; I know this for a fact!!!
i had mine on top of the battery,, it fit with my seats.... i would put it where power commander tells us to put their units,, you pull th batery out, take the fuse harness loose and up,, then the inner fender cover on the front of th eback tire had 1 allen bolt on the bottom,, take that out,, unlip the cover on the bottom , then unclip th etop,,, ther is a harness right there you can see,, you can feed the fuel pac harness up and into the area of the stock computer harness, secure the box to the wire harness and its alot cleaner install.. i know this is a crappy description,, but try to find the instructions for a the power commander install for a 2008 ish style fatboy,,, you will see what im talking about,,, they list it as not workable on the bone,, their full off it,, mine fit with tons of room to spare in that cover area...
