I'm sure the local dealer will sell you a new shiny chrome of black bolt for for $20 to fill the hole. LOL
Yeah my 08 heritage has the same hole.

Its for the muffler bearing. If you order a new one get a can of the winter air for your tires cuz you know you have to change it once the summer is over. The summer air I have is awesome !!! Handles much better with it.

I have the same thing. Damn I thought the dealership said that they threw in a flux capacitor when I bought it.
