Pets riding?

Pets riding?
I was just curious if anyone takes their pet along for the ride. If so what type of carrier do you use? We have a Jack Russel and are thinking of taking him on rides rather than boarding him. Any suggestions?

I seen bag makers (t-bags for example ) make pet carriers. But I have a weenie thats to stupid to ride and an American Eskimo thats to scared to ride, so I have no experience with taking pets along.

I met a husband & wife that bring their dogs along. They took Rubbermaid type tote bins and strapped them to the bike. The dogs rode in the totes with a harness to keep them in. The also had helmets with goggles for the dogs.
I took a picture of them - I'll look for it and post it.

...What happens if the dog starts to freak out? Leave them at home...IMO
