My most likely wheel choices for the Nightrain-
HD's chrome 6 spoke:
Hogpro's Classic:
If your looking for opinions I like the HD 6 spoke first, Thunderstar second (either would look really nice in black and chrome), and last would be the Hogpros.
Just remember its your bike and YOUR the one who's going to pay out the money and have to live with your choice.

I don't want to intrude on Keith's thread but:
Thanks Citoriplus,I always welcome everyone's opinions and I find your's to be particularly insightful.
You're right on the money,The HD 6 spoke is pretty much a done deal at this point.Probably throwing it on next spring.
Speaking of KeithB,I was wondering what he's planning to do with other mods when he gets his '07 Softail Standard (Probably depends on how well brainwashing the wife goes!!!)
Once again it is a personal thing though this wheel from PM would look great on a Nightrain
Thanks for the suggestion FXST,this thread's really about front wheel options for a front wheel KeithB's new Softail Standard. However it is kind of interesting to contrast the difference in mods for these bikes.
I may see it a bit differently than most of ya.I see the ST Standard as more of a blank canvas than the Nightrain and I'd be much more likely to heavily modify the Standard.I see the Train as a "theme" bike and I bought it because it's theme really works for me,there's not much I'll be doing to change it.
One of the things that I like about HD's 6 spoke chrome wheel is that it looks good yet fits in with the rest of my Nightrain without drawing too much attention to itself. If I were choosing a front wheel for a ST Standard I'd probably choose something a bit more flashy.

You obviously have NOT been speaking to my wife. [sm=thanx.gif]
I have been considering the same wheel for the front of my Custom.
Because I have a deep abiding distrust for spoke wheels, its a personal flaw I'm working on correcting.
But not too hard. I figure I might as well wear out the tire I have on there first.
Then I'll start looking around seriously, till then I'll just keep looking around.
