Default Lower Belt Guard

Moving on to the back of the bike adding all the chrome goodies I am wondering if I should buy the chrome lower belt guard or ditch it all together, then have the tabs on the stock swingarm ground off before sending out to chrome. Original plan was to just purchase the chrome guard and swinger but I would think opening it up seeing more of the rear wheel would be better. I did this on my nightster and thought it looked better, but curious to how many actually moved forward with this idea. It would be on a Deluxe since I know that makes a difference in looks compared to say a Night Train.

depends on how much chrome you want to polish when you're cleaning

Not a deluxe, same guard. Would remove it but ride 2up and would feel a little bad if the passengers pants, possibly more, got ruined without the guard.
