Well I bought this bad girl a few weeks ago and haven't got to ride it much. Got around to snagging s few pictures today, week after next I go to BRC so I can officially get licensed here in California.
Anyway, its an 05 Train, with a little less than 7000 miles on it. I have a windshield that the previous owner put on it (windvest I believe) that I'm gonna sell as well as a lovely HD seat with an embroidered heart on it (was his wife's seat I suppose).
Here's the goods.
Only problem is I let it sit for about 2 weeks and the battery crapped the bed on me. Ordered a Deka after some searching around on the forums, in the mean time I charged it up and am leaving it on a tender until the new battery gets here
I just bought an '04 Train last month. Finally giving up the rough a$$ sportster. I am in total honeymoon mode with it. My bike was basically bone stock and is the Carb model. I am going to do my own stage 1 this weekend with the kit from CV. Also have a K&N and some Pythons on the way. Life is great and no more bike envy!
Yes it's black cherry. It was hot as ***** out today in the high desert so by the time I got out in the sun I just wanted to get on it, not take picture. I'm still having a friend of mine teach me the basics of riding so I can make it on base to take BRC with killing myself. I got it down pretty good, except pulling out of his driveway, which is loose rocks.
Thanks for the comments guys. If anyone has some black slash pipes and is looking to trade let me know ;-)
