Thanks for all the replies i have an ethanol free station down the road and when i get home from work i will run it down and refill it. I havent had any problems with the Chevron up till that point. I havent had any problems with Shell either. Like said about might have just clogged an injector for a second or two. I will see if the check engine light keeps popping on and off after i have run a tank through hopefully it will go out and stay out.
Nope don't think I've ever had the service light come on.
use Speedway, shell, or some BP if it doesn't have Ethanol..
glad we still have about 50% of our stations that doesn't have Ethanol yet.

Here in southern New Hampshire we have two or three or four places where you can get "racing" fuel. It is the best. Or as we say here it's wicked. Like Fishcop said 100 octane gets the old motor purring. You got to go out of your way to find it but if you have a high compression engine, it's the only way to roll.
My '03 is stock, low compression, but an occasional gallon or two for the "high test" keeps her happy.
