Default need some advise

I have a 2007 FXSTBi with 37,500 miles on it. Dealer said he would take a trade in of 11,000 on a street glide 2012 or slightly used.

Should I do it?

I really like the train the 96B I could just add saddle bags and a batwing to it for much less.

What do you guys think??

Default deal

if the dealer is giving you 11k you can probably get more if you sold it yourself. if you want to get it done right away then the trade in would speed things up.

I love my Train. It will never leave my possession. If I want another bike, I'll save the pennies and buy one. The dealer could offer me two new bikes for it, and I'd still turn it down.

$11k for a bike with 30,000 miles on it is a good deal on the street, a really good deal from the dealer

A train with bags in a fairing won't cut it, you want the street glide

I want a Street Glide as well, but will not part with my Train, like the bike too much!!! I will just have to save up for one.

Have you ridden a SG? Rent one and ride around town, on twistys and the super slab and see if it's really what you want.

I love my train too but on rides like to sturgis I was a bit cramped. The street glide seems the way to go for longer rides, and another bike in the garage isn't that appealing.

I like the street glide with the radio and bags and I didn't think a bike with high miles like mine would get a good price......

It must be something about the 96B motors and the fact they don't make them anymore that makes the train so desirable

i love my train and will probably never part with her, a street glide is in the future along with a custom or 2. but my train is my first harley and i put blood sweat and tears into it and absolutely love it.
