Bought a 95 fxstc bout a month ago, and sometimes the rear blinkers work and sometimes they stay solid lit. Front signals were taken off prior to me owning it.
Any idea what it is? I would think its a relay or something, but don't know where the relay/fuse box is, if it even has one. Thanks.
Because a Flasher Unit is designed with the current flow of two bulbs in mind, removing one of the bulbs (it's a parallel circuit) will cut the current flow through the Flasher Unit in half. This can be enough of a reduction in current flow through the Flasher Unit such that the circuit will never (or rarely) "Flash."
