Sore as heck!!
Frames are cheap. Ask the shop how much of a difference would it be to replace the frame instead of fix it. Bone up for the difference and everyone is happy. Then go after the B1tch that hit you for the difference and then some. See, everyone is smiling.
I'm not sue happy at all, but the guy who hit us deserved it. I was stopped at a red light and some guy slammed into us, totaling my new Infiniti G35! He was texting, speeding, and never even touched his brakes! He hit me, threw my car about 30 ft into the car in from of me...when it was all said and done, there were 5 cars involved. I had my wife, my mom and dad in the car with me. Wife ended up with knee surgery - we were VERY lucky and my car took the impact like a champ. It folded up around us. But that ******* could have killed every one of us. Goddamn right we sued the **** out of him.

I am in the insurance industry for 24 years
Geico is a bunch of ballbusters but if you take a very stern position and the frame is bent you are within the right to demand it be a total loss.
Sue the bimbo who fled the scene for any cost differential as well as pain and suffering. Her insurance carrier will want to dispose of this matter quickly being she fled the scene and is turning herself into the cops.

Don't know whats going to happen but I want to thank everyone who responded. I have another question in mind...which insurance company should I be looking at when it is time to renew, cause I will be back on the road again and if Geico doesn't butter my bread, they can kiss my you know what for any future buiness!!
I have Foremost and so far they have been great to me. by the way the guy who hit me last year ran off too, must be the thing to do when you wreck these days. If you are hurt and in pain yes sue her, **** if it was the other way around she would be sueing you. Good luck with ithope you make out good with it.
Well people here's the latest; The girl who owns the car is a young twenty something year old, who has a record. She is going to be sentenced to 6 years for something else that she was in probation for and violated it. She says the accident must have happened when her friend took her car to get gas. Police told her and her lawyer that if he doesn't confess by this Monday, she will be charged with hitting me and fleeing the scene. Geico has paid me about $7500.00 for damages to my bike. The shop said only the horns were bent about .25", so I paid them about $500.00 to straighten that out and took my bike. Found a couple of things on ebay, the first being a complete set of painted tins to my door for $300.00. The whale of a fish was the second find, the exact same year bike as mine, down to the color but not as chromed out with only 6300 miles on her for $8000.00!!!!!!!! Super clean and the guy that had her was an exceptionally nice guy. Real down to earth kind of guy, with a really nice family. Can you say, winter project?!?
On a side note, and this is totally honest no bs, my head still hurts and my left shoulder, which I had surgery on before a few years ago is really, really hurting all over again. She has no insurance, and I didn't have medical on mine, I'm so screwed in that way, don't know what to do.
