i keep going back and forth on this decision. im leaning towards getting the polished one, cause its easy to powder coat it black if i decide too. but here's my dilema:
i wan the RSD Nostalgia timing cover. ive always wanted it black, but recently i thought polished would be best since the primary cover is also polished. Now try to pay attention to the question at hand, but here are some bikes with both on them:
and here is mine...im going to powder coat the trans coverblack, so the ehaust sticks out by itself, and im also thinking doing the struts black too
It's funny....I like a lot of his contrast cut products, but for some reason the timing cover is the only one I'm not much of a fan of. It is growing on me though
Your bike looks sick just the way it is now....but go with black if your going to put some powder coat on the primary. Contrast cut is badass but you need something else on the other side to be contrast cut so it can balance out. Can't say anything for clear since I haven't seen it on a bike yet, but i don't think it would go with your bike.
if you do black you are going to have to at least do your upper rockers, i think the tranny cover does stick out that should def be black
you should sent us your rear struts let us custom mask the indented area on them to leave that chrome and shoot the rest black, this would tie in your chrome springs on the front of your springer and keep the flow of the bike
