Default security pager install

I have a 2003 Heritage Ann edition. It has a factory security system with the ignition kill switch and flashing lights, no horn or pager. I'd like to add the pager since my wife and I take the bike on weekend trips and stay in hotels.
Is this as simple as plugging in a box to the security system or should I just have the dealer install it?

Thanks to all that have been answering my questions on my new ride,

Steve

Default RE: security pager install

Steve,
Even though I haven't installed it yet, I picked up the Security System Smart Siren II and Remote Pager Receiver II during a recent sale at my local dealer. The siren is required in order to use the pager so you have to pick up both units. The install appears to be pretty simple and straight forward. I scanned the install manual and posted in PhotoBucket. I didn't see any copyright notice on the instructions so I am assuming this is ok to share. If not, I'm sure someone will spank me.

Here are the links:

I just opened a PhotoBucket account and this is the first time I'm attemting to link to images in PhotoBucket so if something doesn't work right I'll try to fix.
Congrats on the new ride. good luck and ride safe.
