Default Stock Headlight Help Needed

Ok, 07 Softail Custom with the worst headlight mounting system in the world. For those of you with the FXSTC you know what I'm talking about. Since new, I have always had to readjust my headlight every couple weeks thanks to the rubber mounts. Before I know it, the light shines not too far in front of the front wheel. So, take the thing in the garage, turn out the lights, raise the headlight and crank the bolts, only to re-do it in a couple to few weeks again.

Well, I "thought" I had it licked as the last adjustment lasted a few months. Then my lady and I took a nice long ride to South Padre Island on Saturday and on the way back, sure enough, the headlight had moved again.

Does ANYONE have a solution to this problem? It's a total pain to readjust this headlight every few weeks.

I adjusted my headlight one time, 4 years ago. Have not touched it since and it still is holding the right light angles. I didn't do anything special to it. I just torqued it down after the adjustment and that was it. Just lucky! Sorry I don't have more for you. Maybe your dealer knows of a permanent fix.

My FXSTC is a solid mount just like on my Rocker.

Does the rubber dampers on yours look weather aged? If not, try using blue loctite on the nuts.
If the rubber does look weathered, you might just need to get new replacements for it to stay put once you've tightened it up.
