I had joined HDF a little over a month ago and I had described the bike I had found and purchased. I had told everyone it was a 2006 Deluxe that had close to an additional 17k into the bike, that it only had 4800 miles on it and that I picked the bike for 17k. I was told what a great deal I found and I was asked to post some pics of it when I got it home. I finally got pics and posted them in the photo gallery last night at work for those who were interested in seeing the bike. They did not turn out as well as I hoped but they are there for the viewing none the less. It is really a sweet bike, rides very nice and I think I got a pretty darn good deal on it. I know there are MANY bikes out there that are nicer but I think I did pretty well on the deal! Thanks to those who were interested enough to want to see the pictures when I got them.

A big congrats!!!! thats a nice looking bike I bet it's pretty fast but with all do respect, I just don't see the extra 17k. The only thing that matters is that your happy with it. Ride safe...

I don't think there is 17k in mods. Not to burst your bubble but 17k is way too much. You should have paid no more than $13,500. You will learn that 99% of the mods you do don't add to the resale. Anyway, good luck, it is a nice bike.

What you paid for it is water under the bridge now. It's a great looking bike. Enjoy it!

I figured I would run across a few "ney sayers" here and there about the added 17k and thats fine, no worries. The thing is though I have every reciept of everything that was done to the bike, all from the Harley dealer, with the the VIN number on each and every bill for each and every item that was done to the bike. It's OK though, I been riding since I was a kid and I know what I had run across the minute I seen the bike and I jumped on it right then and there. He wanted 18.5k for it, I got him down to 17k and I jumped all over it. I have been watching bikes for sale for over a year, nothing close to this one for the price in fact, I have seen less bikes for more money! It's OK though, I am happy, a great deal, rides like a dream and now I am going to add my few final touches to the bike and call it my own. I will say this though, I would never question or assult someone's bike on here even if they were full of poop. To the owner of each and every bike on here it's "there baby" and who I am I to come along and question him and tell him his ride is less then what he thinks it is. To each their own, to me, Mine! Also, there are some GREAT looking bikes on here guys, all of you should be very proud of your rides. I have yet to meet or see a guy and his bike on here that I would not ride with anytime, anywher!
