Hey guys I just put some polished stainless rotors on my bike. I love them and they stop just fine to me. But I have a question on pads. What is the best type of pad to use for stainless? I know stainless can squeak more than stock but I am trying to find a way to limit the squeaking!!!
Me personally I hate pulling up and having the rotors squeak like a POS, after all the other work it detracts some of the cool factor.
My stocker rear brakes started squeaking just from hand polishing the rotor and tried my best to keep the polish off the contact area but I'm guessing the stock pads glazed over or something from the mothers polish. It does suck rolling up to a stop light and feeling like chit that feeling kind of like reaching down and feeling hairy legs if you know what I mean!

Your bike is just letting you know that you aren't done spending money yet...they do that from time to time
Nice...now you have two bikes to mod, get cracking!
You must have a cool wife but I know the real reason you bought her a bike was so that you could spend more cash on your own (except now you are sharing the needle) lol
BTW if you go with Harley rotors I have a polished front with 25 miles on it that I would let you have on the cheap. PM me if interested.
