Go to eBay and in the search window, type "harley shift linkage". You may then browse for an hour. You'll find new and used authentic Harley linkages as well as some after-market custom ones. I was lucky and found a used H-D chrome slotted bar and shield for my Fatboy. It was in perfect shape and paid half price.

These are about as bulletproof as you can find and they will put whatever lettering you want on them (as long as it fits). The name of the company is on the top 2 linkages, just add "biker sales" in a google search and it should point you to where you can purchase. They do them in chrome too.

Replace the joints with heim as well. ebay has plenty of options. The HD are over priced imho.

Glasshouse also has them in chrome, plus they include the helm joints. Those things are bad ***.

You will not find any better stuff than this. It will be worth your while to check it out. They have a lot of other stuff you're sure to like. Top quality ****.

I am having one made from a K-Bar knife. But those Glass House ones look nice.
