Keithhu, how'd you wire up power to your license plate? I'm thinking this is how I'm gonna go...

 

I exchange the turn signal from my 2008 Heritage with the turnsignal from a road king. With that i can install the number plate below the tail light.

 

If your bike is 2010 or earlier, you tap the hot wire into the blue wire in your rear brake light assembly. Other wire is a ground of course.

I dont know how this would work on the 2011-up low voltage HDLan bikes however.

The other thing I really like is the run/turn/brake module. Easy plug in under your seat that makes the turn sigs into run and brake as well as turn.
