I've looked all over and I only see bits and pieces of information. I'm looking to move the plate below the tail light. Is there a kit, or such out there? I'll need, of course, to light the thing once it's down there too.

I just used a curved lay down plate holder and drilled out holes out to mount in below the tail light. Just make sure you don't drill into the middle of the inner fender brace that is in that area

 

Softbrake makes one but it was kinda pricey for me so I made a bracket for my Deluxe.

Guess I shoulda said all the parts together were kinda pricey, plate, tombstone light and all. I used the stock bracket, turned it upside down and welded it to a bracket I made to bolt to the saddlebag brackets and added a light from Auto Zone.

 

I know that softbrake makes a plate relocator for the Deluxe but not sure if they make one for the Heritage. This is the only one I know of for the Heritage:

I replaced the (strangely hideous) lolipop turn signal bar with the touring bar, then you can get the softbrake bracket for a road king. Add in a Radiantz LED plate bracket and you are good to go.
