Regarding a laydown license plate setup for my '07 Deluxe.. -I'm in need of some advice. I'd like to layback the license plate setup, either exactly where it presently is, on the fender (stock setup)or move the plate tobelow the tail light as I've seen on quite a few of the posted pics. I think that this is a very slick setup. I saw the arrangement on Luxe's bike, and if I had any idea about how to get that done.. wow.. awesome set up. Problem is, I'm totally lame concerning anything other than an extremely simple bolt on arrangement. Murphynamed his "law", when he discovered me attempting to work on my bike; ..so I try to keep things really, really simple.
Can anyone offer me some help along with the name of the manufacturers and part numbers for the brackets you've used?
This is very much appreciated. Thanks. -ZZ
Hey man, I found a lay back plate assymbly that will work with the tombstone tail light at DennisKirk.com. Simple bolt on bracket that replaces the stock plate holder. I believe it was between 50 and 60 bucks. It's not hard to put on either. Good luck with it.
