Default Got my Lepera Seat, Got a problem too

I got my bare bones today for Christmas and I can't get it to fit. The problem doesn't seem to be the fuelpak, but the front tab seems way to high to mount into the frame. I measured the stock seat, and the lepera and it's about a 1/2" shorter than stock.

Has anyone else ran into this? Should I need/ try to bend it?

With an 04 carbed fatboy I don't have a fuelpak to deal with. Even so, the BareBones always needs a little "persuasion" to mount.

I know it Christmas, but If Ur not riding I'd wait to call them Mon Or Tues, before I'd start bending things in case they want it back...

One would think if its the right part/seat U wouldn't have to bend anything if they are as good as they think they are.... I mean they've sold K's of seat for Hd's....

So just chill and hold on for a couple days and see WHAT's UP....

It will be snug, play with the angle a bit and work it on. Do you have a tank bib?

You could bend it a little but it wont be easy, its a steel seat pan and a beefy tang.

Maybe a crescent wrench on the tang would work if you can hold the seat well enough but don't scuff the vinyl...

post pics when you get it on

Its got a part number on it. Before you force it on, check the seats part number with whats on the website. If its correct.... then force it. LOL
