My TC96 and 6 speed are awesome, 4100 miles no problems. Plenty of power.

i just bought an 07. it's my first harley so i wouldn't be able to compare it with past year models. but i don't have one complaint about my bike. there are several threads on the forums regarding over-temp problems and xmsn noises in 5th gear. i haven't experienced any of these problems. i say go for it.

No problems with mine either. But there have been some noises made about the tranny dipstick breaking off.
But I can't see that as anything like a serious problem as it seems to be very, very rare, and easy to eliminate with a hacksaw.

My 07 is the fifth since 91. This is the best of them all.

I have appproximately 1200 miles on my '07 Fat Boy now. I love this bike and I've had no problems whatsoever. I guess the ultimate endorsement is that I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

The 07's are great right out the box.Don't have to do all that stuff to
make them go faster, like you have to with the 88s. Now you can do
all that stuff, because you want to. Yes they run lean, put a fuel pack
on it,thats it.
I know alot guys will say different, put hey what you gone do!!!!!
My 07 has been great from day one.

Bought 07, will have to admit there are noises in this one I've never heard from my previous models, 5th gear and what I believe is the 200 rear tire howling at about 25 to 35 mph, and runs hot. But I would not trade it for any one I've owned previously. I do miss my built evo, but had to stick alot of money in the engine and the 07 comes damn close to it's preformance and I believe with the 6-speed it would out perform it from forth gear and up.
