I have my console off my Lo to do some painting on it. I have it all apart except the display module thing. cant get it out. speedo was easy, switch was easy but this thing I cant figure out. I know I'm probably being an idiot.
i have a 93 dyna wide glide. i found a leak at the carb. it is the l shaped supply line coming in to the carb.i pulled it out ordered a new one what is the best way to install it?

Your not being an idiot. it took me twenty minutes to get that indicator bar out. what a pain in the ****...
Its a little hard to explain, and does take more force than your probably giving it. You have to depress those tabs with a needle nose pliers with one hand and use a flat head screw driver to pry the piece that your looking at up. the module has to prongs on it that slide into the plastic piece thats going to slide up. once you slide off the plastic retainer the module with come out of the front of the console.
I just had the thing out, and yeah, it takes a bit of screwing with. look at the console so the bar looks like this

..so lengthwise, right?
On the ends, there are two tabs that hold the front screen on, take a small screwdriver and push those tabs in and the screen removes itself forwards (through the front of the console).. then getting the back half out is a breeze
