Finally pulled the trigger
It's hard to believe I joined here over 3 years ago. I've done a ton of reading, but with the economy and layoffs, etc..I always put off buying and didn't really have anything to write about. I finally found an 05 Deluxe with only a few thousand miles and the owner was unfortunately in a bad spot financially, so I picked it up at what I thought was a steal. Even though I haven't been able to contribute much, a lot of your posts helped me when I was purchasing. I'll put up some pics soon, and thanks to everyone.

The only mods the original owner did was put longer floor boards on, new hand grips and put on Screamin Eagle slip ons. I really don't think there is much difference in the stock and SE's that are on there now as far as how it sounds, so I will switch that out. Since it's not fuel injected, I'm going to look around and see what sounds the best and go from there. I still need to learn what all needs to be done when putting on new pipes. The color is Black Cherry. It does feel awesome. My first ride was all grins.
