Default Horns

I'm on the process of putting an order together for the end of the month, all the stuff is getting ordered from the States, so makes sense to get it all in the same package, I'm already decided on a set of Eddie Trotta boards and a PM merc air cleaner and also a set of Uskoolines chrome HT leads, but I was thinking of a horn, got to be chrome and loud and better looking than the original, any suggestions, already took a look at the Howards horn, any experiences with these.
Thanks Guys

I've heard good things about Howard's Horns. And they have tips on cleaning and maintaining them. Assuming you are talking about their air horns ...

I've had Howards on my Heritage for about two years. Damn loud and look good but not great. The chrome on the base of the horns is flaking off and getting funky. I do ride a lot and get wet often but the bike is always wiped down and never left to air dry (accept quick showers on long trips. ) and it never stays out in the rain so I'm fairly sure it is just a build quality thing.

I am actually thinking about taking the horns off of the base and having them powder coated. I think a bit of contrast would be cool.

Cost me a lot of money, but I wanted the same things - loud and look good. So I got a Mini-Beast from Santa. Glad I was nice and not naughty, cuz Santa paid, and I like my horn.
