My preference is Avon Venoms. Much improved handling over OEM Dunlops and get 12-14K out of the back tire. The Dunlop Elite 3 is another good choice.

That's true. And its been reported they are actually lighter, I wonder if it's due to sidewall construction.

They seem to be fine at lean angles typically seen on cruisers. I would like to see a video of a 60-85mph sweeper, two-up.
