Sometimes you can pick them up on ebay? When I was searching around I found some on ebay and got in touch with the guy. I wound up getting him to chrome my controls, front & rear calipers, and footboards. He did a great job and it was much cheaper than buying from the stealer. His ebay username is rick9662.

I think this has happened to all of us at one time or another but buying after market sometimes ends up costing us more money. It's the old saying, you get what you pay for. I would take my stuff and get it dipped before I bought after market but thats just me. In fact I would talk to the guy and ask him would his price go down or give you a % off based on what you get chromed then take other stuff and get that all done at the same time, kinda like a "dipping party"!! I think chrome calipers really looks nice on a bike, maybe kill 2 birds with 1 stone?? Either way, good luck Dude and post some pics when done!!

Tbone I think your right, chroming my oem stuff is the route I'm gonna take. I never really thought about chroming the calipers but might as well since I there. I like the fit and function of oem stuff over after market any old day. Thank you all for your advice.
