Default Rear Floorboard Question

I seem to be missing a part????
I want to install rear floorboards, so I bought:
1- The mounting brackets
2- The Nostalgic Rubber Inserts
3- The chrome back cover

It seems that there should be a part that the actual insert mounts to, that would also be connected to the mounting bracket. Then the back chrome covers would go on last....???
If so, I didn't see this part when I bought the other stuff, and the parts guy made no mention.

I think you're missing the pans...at least that's what I call them.

Im not sure which ones you got but, I bought mine this past year and put them on. The chrome cover you speak of, is it the whole plate that the passenger would put their foot on? If so the insert snaps into it using those rubber grips. If you just have a chrome cover and no plate, then you definitely are missing a piece.

The kits come with everything you'll need. The covers and inserts are just that covers and inserts. The pan is the structural part that actually attaches to the bracket.
