Im running that setup, not bad, but I always wear gloves anyway. Bare hands for extended periods might get a little uncomfortable.

I had billets on my springer years ago. They looked cool and matched the pegs, but I don't usually ride with gloves and without them they suck IMO.

Ahhh, nothing like stone-cold aluminum grips during the cooler months! Personally I don't even have to try them to know they're all show, no go.

I had some on my '99 Dyna that I really liked; but gloves were mandatory in cold weather riding and the heat of the summer.

If you don't want to take a chance with the billet, exile does sell their rubber grips prepped for the grip ace setup.

I have them on my Heritage. They match the highway pegs and passenger pegs. They are okay on shorter trips with gloves. I wouldn't recommend on long trips (300m +), or no gloves, or riding in cold weather (even with gloves). I have PM grips on my Deluxe and they are the most comfortable. SJ Ron

I've never experienced any problems and I often ride 200 - 300 miles at a time without gloves.

I have a set of HD silencers on mine, feels like your holding on too sheer steel on long rides. I wear gloves and I think there ok but as most have stated they are not the best option to go for those long long rides especially when you end the ride and grab a cold beer you might just over squeeze the bottle so keep the gloves on just in-case
